Enzyme exfoliation is one of my favorite beauty secrets for both the face and body. It’s a gentle yet effective way to elevate your skincare routine without the risk of irritation, over-exfoliation, or damaging your skin barrier. Unlike AHAs and BHAs, which work by sloughing off dead skin cells, enzymes—derived from fruit acids—dissolve dead skin cells, making them a more skin-friendly option for regular exfoliation.
When I formulated my skincare line, I was mindful of how many people develop sensitized skin from using products that are too strong for their skin's needs.
